As the King of Shadowswelcomes me to his dominionI feel disinclined to remainby his side for all of eternityAs I lay dying in his armswith my eyes wide openI keep reaching for the lightslowly fading from withinAs the King of Shadowstakes hold of my immortal soulI recoil at his touch hot and coldfingers curled around my heartAs I lay dying in his armsthe dark figure´s gaze piercingI know him patiently waitingfor me to succumb to his loveAs the King of Shadowscaresses my pale clammy skin I grow weary of resisting himand slowly close my eyes, no king of shadows shall overpower you....... remain in prayer. Well, Zeus made me forfeitMy beautiful wifeIn order to keepDemeter happy and to keepThe world in balance.So, Sephie had to spend timeWith her awful motherDuring the summer months, And those were always the lonelyTimes for me, And then she spent the winterMonths with me, Which were the best times of my life.I mean, now that it is winter, I am the happiest godIn the entire universe, And Sephie is happy to beWith me, But, alas, the mortalsStill suffer because ofDemeter's self-centredness.I feel for them, And, yes, my sister isOne mean b#%^&, And I pity the mortalsWho suffer, But, yet, I am happierThan ever, For I have found theLove of my immortal life, Who shall never leave my side.Well, it was nice meeting you, And I have some business to conduct, So I thank you for your time.
