People are avoiding relocating to this area because of the inaccessible station despite city planners trying to advertise Wollaston as a commuter location. TTY: 617-222-1200.

For the first time in almost two years, the Wollaston Station reopened Friday to Red Line passengers. Most people feel very safe and secure with enough transit police action during odd hours. The lot is smaller as they installed a lovely walking path which I love. The reopening comes, too, as the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority intensifies efforts to repair its way out of the aftershocks of a Red Line derailment in early June north of Wollaston Station.
Wollaston has the following bike storage features: MBTA riders can purchase tickets and passes for the Commuter Rail, bus, subway, and ferry at stores located throughout the Greater Boston and Providence areas. The improvements to Wollaston Station were the result of a $911 million commitment from the MBTA to improve South Side projects which also includes 252 new Red Line cars, signal upgrades, and station rejuvenation projects.
